The winners and finalists will be included in the Arc Salon Catalog. The Art Renewal Center © was founded in 1999 for the advancement of traditional representational art. The website is currently receiving more visitors than the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, and is now tracking 500,000,000 hits per year from over 5,000,000 regular visitors. About Watercolor U.S.A.
Watercolor U.S.A. is the Springfield Art Museum’s nationally known, annual juried exhibition featuring some of the country’s best-known artists and jurors. The event is open to artists from all 50 states and U.S. territories. Hundreds of entries are received annually and judged for a variety of prizes, and possible purchase by the Museum or its patrons. Organized in 1962, this event attracts thousands of visitors annually to the Museum and to Springfield to view the work of exhibitors.
Opening Day
Opening Day won the honor of Top 100 in
Paint America’s Paint the Parks Competition 2011.
Paint the Parks 100 is America’s leading competition and exhibition designed to illustrate the beauty and significance of America’s National Parks. Paintings entered must depict one of our nation’s 390 areas supervised by the National Park Service. These 100 paintings will be touring in gallery exhibits throughout the Country scheduled over the coming year. The park represented is Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

More Precious than Gold has been awarded Finalist in the Richeson 75 International Art Competition Figure/Portrait 2011.
Everett Raymond Kinstler, NA, AWS, PSA is the juror for the competition. Mr. Kinstler is arguably the most esteemed portrait artist in America today.
It was also honored with acceptance into The 29th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors in Old Forge, New York.
It has been ranked one of the ten best competitive watercolor exhibitions in the country by The Artist’s Magazine.
