2011 Juried Shows and Honors

“Eyeing the Situation” was selected to be part of the 34th International Exhibitionsponsored by Watercolor Art Society Houston. It was select from more than 400 paintings by juror, John Salminen, for inclusion in the gallery exhibition.

“Opening Day” has been selected to be included in ROCKIES WEST NATIONAL 2011 19th Annual Juried Exhibition … Presented by Western Colorado Watercolor Society (Juror: Paul Jackson AWS, NWS)

“Friends and Neighbors” was selected to be part of Watercolor Now! 2011. It was held at the Slater Memorial Park Gallery in Rhode Island from January 9-28, 2011.

“More Precious than Gold” will be included in The 29th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors Travel Exhibit… November 2010-January 2011.

“Opening Day” received the Artmart Award at the Missouri Watercolor Society Invitational (Judge: Shirley Nachtrieb)

Tweet was awarded Finalist in the Animal/Wildlife category of The Artist’s Magazine 27th Annual Art Competition. It was listed as a finalist in the December 2010 issue of the magazine. (Chris Bacon, Juror)

Best of America Artists & Artisans Watermedia Volume II art book competition “Shadow Dreams at Sunrise” “Shipmates” and “Signs of the Time” juried into book.

“Tweet” has been awarded the Marcia W. Justice Cash Award in Watercolor USA 2010. The Judge for Watercolor U.S.A. 2010 was Richard Martin Ash lll, Professor Emeritus of Art and Director of the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas.
